This is a persian-style rice that is really easy to cook, with just 10 minutes preparation time. The saffron-pistachio decoration on top of it makes it look fancy and special :) hope you like it!

What you need
Basmati rice: 2 cupWater: 4 cup
Salt: 1 Tbsp
Canola oil: 1/4 cup
Saffron: 1/4 tsp
Pistachio: 1Tbsp
How to prepare
- Add rice to a none stick Dutch oven or big saucepan, then rinse the rice with water, but don't over-rinse it!
- Add cold water on the rice, add salt and canola oil.
- Put the saucepan over medium high heat. Let the water boil and dry.
- When you see no more water and the rice is half cooked, make small holes in the rice with a spoon, so it will brew better.
- put a lid on the saucepan , and change the temperate to very low.
- Let it cooks this way for 30-45 minute. Check the rice afterwards to see if it's cooked.
- Brew the Saffron based on the the following recipe: Brewing Saffron
- In a small bowl, stir a Tbsp of brewed saffron with 2 Tbsp cooked rice and 1 Tbsp pistachio.
- Set the rice in a desired plate, decorate it with the mix in the small bowl.
