Chicken Potato Salad

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since the last post, it's because christmas is almost here, ad there's so much to do. I love my job in The Body Shop, but it's been super busy last week. I'll try to manage things more this week :)
Today, I will describe the chicken potato salad. This food can be served as a side dish, but also as a main dish. It has carb, protein, beans and herb and it's a complete food. I usually serve this food with pita bread.

Tender Chicken

Hi everyone,

The first food recipe that I want to share with you is the persian tender chicken. This is my mom's recipe. My mom's food is simple and delicious. She was working as a teacher and she didn't have a lot of time to cook super fancy foods, so with mixing spices and using slow cooking methods she made us really good healthy foods. Since I moved to Canada, whenever I cooked this for my friends, they loved it! I hope you enjoy it, too!

Peppermint Pita Bread

Hi everyone,

Today, I want to share with you how I cook peppermint pita bread. Recently, I bought a Black and Decker bread maker, and I'm enjoying my life :) It's amazing! First, I bought a Breadman bread maker, which is so cute and stylish, but the paddles were not working well, so we had to return that useless but stylish bread maker and go with Black and Decker. I'm working with my bread maker since last month and I'm absolutely satisfied with it.

Persian Eggplant Dip

Hi everyone,

I started a part time job in The Body Shop. I've always fascinated by their amazing eco-friendly products, but now that I'm working there and found out how much the company participate in community fair trade activities, makes me feel I'm part of their amazing movement, makes me just happy :)

Today, I'll describe one of my favorite food: Persian eggplant dip. In Iran, it's called: Kashk O Bademjan, Kashk is a dairy product with sour taste (Kashk), bademjan is eggplant in persian. This is a vegetarian meal, perfect for your meatless mondays (Meatless Monday). If there's no Persian grocery store close by to you, you can use Sour cream and lemon juice instead (it's explained throughly in the preparation).

Brewing Saffron

Hi everyone,

It's snowing here, and it's so beautiful outside :)

Today, I'm gonna describe how you can brew saffron, so you have a nice red brewed saffron to add to your food or to decorate a food. What you need is a stone or stainless steel mortar and pestle. If you decide to have a stone one, you need to use it only for the saffron, since it will stain with saffron color.

Easy Rice

Hi everyone,
This is a persian-style rice that is really easy to cook, with just 10 minutes preparation time. The saffron-pistachio decoration on top of it makes it look fancy and special :) hope you like it!
