Hi everyone,
Today, I want to share with you how I cook peppermint pita bread. Recently, I bought a Black and Decker bread maker, and I'm enjoying my life :) It's amazing! First, I bought a Breadman bread maker, which is so cute and stylish, but the paddles were not working well, so we had to return that useless but stylish bread maker and go with Black and Decker. I'm working with my bread maker since last month and I'm absolutely satisfied with it.

What you need
Milk: 1 cupWater: 1/8 cup
Margarine: 1 Tbsp
Honey: 1 Tbsp
Dried basil: 1/2 Tbsp
Sesame seed: 2 Tbsp
Dried peppermint: 2 Tbsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Whole wheat flour: 1 cup
All purpose flour: 2 cup
Bread machine yeast: 1 1/2 tsp
How to prepare
- Add ingredients in the order listed.
- Insert the bread pan in the bread machine, close the lid, choose dough cycle, and push the start botton.
- At the complete beep, the dough is ready.
- Put the dough in a slightly floured surface, and make a ball with it. Then cut the ball and make two smaller balls. Leave them for 15 minutes, so they rise more.
- Gently roll the dough, using a rolling pin. until it gets the shape and size you want. Put the dough on a pizza plate. I always use aluminium foil on my baking plates, so it will be easier to take the cakes or bread out of the plate, and it's not going to be sticky. Leave dough in the oven for 20- 30 minutes on 375 F. Check the bread when it's a bit brown on surface, it's ready.
- I prefer to toast this bread before eating it. I cut in small pieces and toast until it's a bit crispy.
