Barley Soup

Hi everyone,
Today, I will write you about a delicious and nutritious soup: Barley soup




Serving size: 6 people
Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 1:30 - 2 hour

What you need

Pearl barley: 1 cup
Spring onion: 1/3 cup
Chicken broth (here): 2 cup
Water: 4 cup
Grated carrot: 1/2 cup
Parsley: 1/4 cup
Milk: 1 cup
Salt: 2 tsp
Back pepper: 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice: 2 Tbsp

How to prepare

  • Leave pearl barely in water for an hour.
  • Chop the spring onion and put it in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add barley, chicken broth, grated carrot and water on it, and turn it to low heat with a closed lid.
  • After an hour, add parsley, milk, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and let it cook for half an hour. Enjoy!
